Very Good

The staff is very kind, part of the hotel is new, the pools are great, the food is good.

The water park - slides are old, and painful and on the weekend full of people from outside, which burdens the enjoyment in the park

Good facilities low quality food

The facilities are really nice and the place is far from where most festivities take place which makes it ideal for families with children. Cleaning services were good and the lady was very friendly and helpful.

Having stayed at other Crete hotels with all-inclusive buffets, I can say that the quality of the products used was below sub-par. I know that it is all-inclusive, but the best dish over our 5 days stay was the spaghetti, and that says something. One day there was mousaka and once the dish was gone they replaced it with Sprouts(!) So if you were lucky to have a slice then ok if not then... Also the inclusive drinks were only beer and wine no cocktails or mocktails in there to chose from.

We overall loved our stay. Only small things but we were happy

Gorgeous room, cleaned daily. Different food each day. We loved our stay

Lunch ends at 2, dinner starts at 7-9 which feels a little late for children if they’re there. Beer and wine are heavily watered down. Cocktails and fresh juices are not included. Just wine, beer, raki, ouzo and self serve sodas and concentrates

Pleasant and comfortable time

It is a very nice hotel, it has 3 pools, 1 large dining room and lots of nice spots to sit and relax. We loved our meals and drinks by the pool!! Nice food, pleasant atmosphere and good people!!

The two things we had trouble with was the yelling at noon between 15:00 and 17:00 because of the water park. We had booked a superior double room with private pool to relax and it wasn’t so much peaceful as we thought. As for the second one, the little fridge in the room was extremely noisy when it worked.

The private pool of our room. The fact that the room was spacious. The room was quiet and had privacy.

I would like the rooms to be better cleaned. I would like to have iced coffee included in the all inclusive plan.

Very good value for the money

The food is excellent, great diversity and quality. The apartment was quite big, even though not as big as in the booking description. The place for the kids. The polls. Good value for the price overall.

The apartment wasn't 54 sqm like in the booking description. The fridge was rusty. The air conditioning was leaking inside.

Wonderful

Food was great. Children had too many thing to do and they enjoyed all of them.

Weekends, pools and parking are filled because hotel is open for people outside hotel. You cannot enjoy your stay these days.

short stay in malia

it’s in a decent location, lots of bars and restaurants close by and less than 10 mins walk from the main strip and the bus stops to and from Heraklion. the room was as pictured and the staff were really nice, special thanks to Marianna at reception who was determined to assist us with things we couldn’t figure out e.g the tv as it needed retuning. there are nice communal areas and the views are breathtaking! the beach is just a few mins walk away.

unfortunately nearly everything locally is closed due to the high season being over, so it was lucky that the hotel offered an all inclusive option as the local area was like a ghost town. the food in the hotel was very hit and miss. the salads and fruit was good and there was a good selection of dessert and sweet items. the main meals were often over cooked, bland and contained lots of pork options. not much for vegetarians. also there are stray kittens hovering around at meal times but that’s no fault of the hotel or staff. the grounds are huge so probably lots of hiding places for them! we had a room with a private pool which was nice, but the water was freezing so we barely used it. it’s for private use but the guests next door or above would be able to see into the pool. it also had green algae and could have been a little cleaner.

The standard rooms are very big but very basic in forniture and bathroom is minimum standard (toilet seat was moving)

had a nice stay!

perfect location close to beach and also to the city. supermarkets are close too. delicious meal. perfect kids playground. appreciate an option of late check out till 18:00 and 22:00. beach towels at the reception.

sometimes you hear disco from the city but I do not mind it.

Very nice stay

Room in the new part were very clean and modern. In general, the whole facility looked very nice. There were three pools, an aqua park and the beach only about 5 minute walk from the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful.

We had a room with an entresol and the air conditioning was beneath it so it was really hot up there. The break between lunch and dinner was too long for us and there weren’t any snacks in between. This one is not about the property, but we didn’t enjoy Malia in general. It was very loud, a typical party location with a lot of bars and clubs.

great service mixed together with quality.

first and foremost, it’s a bit off the path from the busier part of Malia. you get the closeness of historic old town where there are many fantastic choices to eat, but are also away from the hustle and bustle of the evening party crowd. on top of that, you are a five minute walk from the beach. secondly the hospitality at this hotel is unmatched. I come here at least once a year because the people are so kind and welcoming. it’s really one of my favorite hotels.

nothing to be honest. the staff is lovely, the rooms are wonderful, the food is pretty good, the location is perfect.

It was good but not totally worth it the price!

The hotel was very nice, the room also!

The food was average and the all inclusive package was quite poor! No alcohol free drinks(except coke, lemonade etc), no fresh juices for the children!

Amazing vecation in an amazing suite

we got the grand suite with the private pool, the room was amazing, the pool was huge. this is definitely the best room you can get with these prices. The food in the hotel was great, not repetitive at all. breakfast always had pancakes, a variaty of eggs, chesse, bread, vegetables, cereal, jams, etc. lunch and dinner were also great, and i really liked the desserts. i'm a vegatarian and i always had multiple choises. the hotel is in the center of everything, near by there are a lot of restaurants, bars, supermarkers, stores, absolutly everything you need.

they didn't clean our room every day, but that wasn't so bad.
